I'm incredibly disappointed in IBM: their lacking of "push" on the PowerPC project is sad. They used to have bleeding-edge technology (remember the PPC 601?) that could knock the socks off the users.

I've got a 12" powerbook, and despite the fact that it is more than two years old and only 867Mhz, I have no need for more speed... it does get a little hot on the bottom though. ;-)

I wonder if Apple will use the same chips as everyone else (Pentium) or if they've got a side-contract with Intel to do something spiffier...
