Last week, I was a leadership conference for all of Lockheed’s employees in their first year of the Leadership Development Program. The week-long session was fantastic, and I learned much of the business outside of engineering. I was not expecting it to be worthwhile, but it was very worth while. On top of that, I met some great individuals. One of the activities was the Myers-Briggs personality type indicator. Last time I took this was in high school, where I was an INTP (Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinker, Perceiver). I changed quite a bit, and now I’m an ENTP (Extroverted). Below are the descriptions between the two:
ENTP: Quick, ingenious, stimulating, alert, and outspoken. Resourceful in solving new and challenging problems. Adept at generating conceptual possibilities and then analyzing them strategically. Good at reading other people. Bored by routine, will seldom do the same thing the same way, apt to turn to one new interest after another.
I think that’s pretty accurate, both in the past and present day.

Sounds like a good time! I was an INTJ in high school. I wonder what I would be now?
I always test on the exact border between INTJ and INTP.
i remember taking that… we were both INTP. ever since i’ve tested just slightly on the INTJ side of things though. looks like a popular one among your commenters : )
more thought makes me wonder if it was the T that switched to an F and the P stayed. hmm… anyone find a place we can take it online?
Yup, see http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes1.htm
I just scored an ENFP, which seemed odd, but then not after reading the description.
ENTJ
(*degs)ENTJ;
nope, can’t cast it.
Hi,
I am Scott’s Uncle. Do you know he recently married? I don’t have direct contact with him, but you can contact his mom on janel4@aol.com. Let me know what happens.
Cheers
Simon
I’ve always been an ISTJ. I still am.
Ah yes, that makes sense…
The good ol’ Introverted Traditionalists:
ISTJ’s are quiet, serious, responsible, sensible, patient, loyal and steadfast maintainers of society’s time-honoured traditions and institutions.
Hurm. That makes me sound so. . .boring. Oh well, it takes all kinds!
At least I blog regularly, unlike some people who go months without posting, or even worse, go months without posting and then make their blogs just disappear.
FWIW, I’m sick of traditional western church. That’s one institution I won’t defend.
Grrr… stupid comment spammers. They’ve hit my web site before, too.
ENTP woo-hoo
