So, I gave Tetris Worlds another try today. I decided it was the worst game I had ever played. I don’t know how you can mess up Tetris, but they certainly did. The point of the classic arcade Tetris is to get the high score. One would think that this too would be the objective of at least the arcade version in Tetris Worlds. But no — it isn’t. The goal? To clear 5x as many lines as what level you are playing. And once you reach that goal? You win! That’s it. You can’t continue playing to see how many lines you could have gotten. Did I mention the highest level you can start at is level 10? Yeah, the game is gay. And I returned it. For a full refund (Software Etc. return policy is very nice).

Sid and I went to Dupont Circle. I told him he needed to pick up some women. So we went there. He succeeded. Asked the waitress out at Cosi there. She said to stop by later on so that they can chat and get to know each other. Then maybe a date. And we went to a bookstore. As we were walking from the bookstore to the Metro, two chicks picked us up. He had a good night.

And tomorrow will be fun (more details to be revealed later) and this last half of the week should be great. Capizzi, K Smith, Batta, and Baldauff are all supposed to come up. Let’s hope they all do. And I get my Jeep on Saturday. :-D
